nostalgia

Nostalgia can be pretty sweet sometimes. And in my opinion, especially when travelling... and remembering the little details you forgot about. A couple months ago I was walking by Notre Dame at night and stopped to take a look at it. I walked futher behind the main square in front of it, and saw that the moon was out in between the two towers. I realized that I had stood in the exact same spot on the street 3 summers ago the last time I was in Paris, looking at the moon inbetween the two towers.... whoa.

And another example, I'm in Italy right now, and was walking by what I think is the Monumento a Vittorio Emanuele II (the really huge and marble SWEET ass looking building) and walked by a little patch of grass with a shambly looking wooden fence. All of a sudden I remember sitting on that also 3 years ago in the heat. Same with the piazza in front of the Pantheon... Years ago I was with my family trying to find a supposedly really really good gelato place, and then another time I was singing inside the Pantheon with the SFBC.

Remembering little things when you see them after so long... that feeling is so refreshing!

On a different note, I haven't done too much in the last couple of weeks so I haven't updated my super blog. I have some pictures tho and theyll be up hopefully soon when I get back to France. Travelling in Europe is too easy!
